Direct steps to the main seating area of the garden allows for the journey to be seamless and a pleasurable walk through abundant, scented perennials and gently swaying grasses.

The bonus of having a garden like this are the views. From the top of the garden the woodland views beyond are breathtaking and a comfy seating area at the top of the garden to watch the sun set makes the journey all the worth while

With a height difference of 8 metres from the kitchen up to the far end of the garden. Meticulous planning, calculations and experience was necessary for us to create a beautiful garden that is used and enjoyed daily from the top to the bottom.

We wanted to maintain the secluded feel and up the plant quota. The soil is solid chalk, plants need to thrive, so right plant, right place is essential in this garden.

Our clients where keen to welcome and encourage wildlife. They also wanted to sit within the garden and feel at one with nature, having a deep connection to nature has been proven to relieve depression, enhance relaxation, resilience, aid memory function plus many further benefits

We used rendered wall, sandstone paving and oak timber sleepers
